The Harder the Life, the Sweeter the Song. W/DG brought to life a site that captures the emotional tone of one man's struggle through fame, misfortune, and music. In addition to the site, the Crazy Heart theme song, "The Weary Kind," was used to create a fan driven music board. Individuals are encouraged to upload and share their own version of the award-winning song written by Ryan Bingham and T-Bone Burnett.

Using YouTube as a hub, and integrating the share capabilities of Twitter and Facebook, the site asks visitors to create and upload their own versions of the film’s centerpiece song. The do-it-yourself attitude reflects that of Crazy Heart’s main character Bad Blake (Oscar-winner Jeff Bridges), and helps visitors identify with his struggle and heartbreak, as the film follows his process of writing and eventually performing "The Weary Kind" to audience acclaim.
