G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra
WATSON/DG joined forces with Paramount Pictures to create the web experience for the high-tech summer action spectacular, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. The full site, building off the character-centered teaser site design, is a dense, immersive experience realized with Papervision3D and other next generation Flash technologies. These new technologies allow visitors to explore dynamic, animated 360° panoramic viewscapes of G.I. Joe and Cobra environments.

Funny People Viral Campaign
Funny People's biggest scene-stealer is Randy, the vulgar, boisterous comedian portrayed by Human Giant's Aziz Ansari. WATSON/DG created an official site for the character, complete with bio, video clips, tour dates and an interactive soundboard, a feature perfectly befitting the only stand-up comedian in history with his own DJ.
CHOC Children's foundation
WATSON/DG recently partnered with Intersection Studio for iamforchildren.com, an interactive online brochure developed to inform and educate users about the Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) Foundation, specifically its mission, history and medical institutes. The site was also built to illustrate future development plans and naming opportunities for potential donors. To effectively tell the Foundation's story, WATSON/DG created a video and Flash intensive site powered by a customized content management system that allows CHOC administrators to easily maintain and update the site.

TROPIC THUNDER VIRAL CAMPAIGN / 2009 KEY ART AWARD WINNER - NEW MEDIA: "MOST BUZZWORTHY"
WATSON/DG faced an epic task for Tropic Thunder, creating more than a dozen different sites that expand on the movie's universe. This included personal sites for the lead characters and official movie sites for their previous acting roles, including the site for the prestigious, taboo-breaking "Satan's Alley" and the site for the wildly flatulent "The Fatties Fart 2". Sites were also created for a plastic surgery center, a wildlife rescue foundation, and a special effects company. One of the most popular sites was the blog of the movie's fictional documentary filmmaker, which includes extensive original videos and written commentary. Each site needed to be realistic and believable, but with a touch of the absurd to sell the jokes successfully.

WATSON/DG's work was honored with the "Most Buzzworthy" award and named a finalist for "Best Digital Media Campaign" at The Hollywood Reporter's 2009 Key Art Awards.
CHOKE / 2009 KEY ART AWARD FINALIST - NEW MEDIA: "BEST WEBSITE"
For Fox Searchlight's adaptation of Chuck Palahniuk's Choke, WATSON/DG needed to create a site that, like the book and the movie, mixed highbrow and lowbrow, the sacred and the profane. The site needed to mimic the sensation of stumbling upon a beautiful painting in a seedy strip club bathroom. The site's surreal touches place you inside the mind of the conflicted, sex-obsessed lead character (played by Sam Rockwell). One special viral flourish that WATSON/DG created is the Word Hurl widget. After selecting from an assortment of nouns and adjectives, the Word Hurl fills in the blanks to reveal a custom salacious, self-loathing monologue.

WATSON/DG was nominated as a finalist for "Best Website" at The Hollywood Reporter's Key Art Awards for our work on Choke.
